PDM Postpones Long March After PPP Seeks Time To Decide On Resignation From Assemblies
Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has decided to postpone its anti-government long march that was scheduled to be held on March 26 after Pakistan People's Party (PPP) sought time to decide whether its lawmakers are ready to resign from assemblies.

PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman made this announcement following the opposition's meeting in Islamabad. Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PPP leader Senator Yousaf Raza Gilani also addressed the press briefing. Gilani said that his party wanted to consult with its central executive committee before proceeding with resignations from assemblies.
