A 13-year-old girl was repeatedly raped and her younger sisters were sexually assaulted by their step-father and his brother in Karachi’s Korangi Town. The police officials have arrested both men.
A video has been doing the rounds on social media, wherein the victim can be seen revealing the details of the unfortunate incident. She said that her step-father, identified as Ghulam Qadir, and his brother, identified as Roshan Ali, used to rape her frequently. “My stepfather and uncle threatened me and my sister that if we informed anyone, they would kill us,” the victim said in the video.

Victim’s mother, Shagufta Bibi, is a resident of Awami Colony in Korangi Town. She works as a domestic worker to support her six children. After the death of her first husband, she remarried to Ghulam Qadir.
Shagufta revealed that one month ago, her second husband forced his 13-year-old stepdaughter to marry his 35-year-old brother, Roshan Ali. She further told a local news outlet that when her daughter told her about the abuse, she talked to her husband and his brother, but they forced her not to tell people about it. “My husband threatened to divorce me and kill my children,” she added.
A first information report (FIR) was lodged by Shagufta Bibi at Karachi’s Awami Colony Police Station on Monday. The police officials acted promptly and arrested Ghulam Qadir Roshan Ali.
