FIA Arrests 3 Men For Alleged Involvement In Spot-Fixing PSL During Matches
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested three men from Karachi, for alleged match-fixing in Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, that is currently underway in different cities of the country.

According to a news report published in Pro Pakistani, FIA arrested three men, Mahendar Kuman, Naresh Kumar alias KG, and Naresh Kumar alias Jani from Karachi for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing of PSL’s fifth edition matches. The accused belonged to an international match-fixing racket, that is also involved in terror financing and money laundering.

The accused are currently on a 3-day remand after they were presented before the court. The website revealed that the culprits have been arrested in an inquiry of Commercial Banking Circle (CBC) for keeping benami accounts.

FIA has also requested the Interior Ministry to put the names of alleged match-fixers and their accomplices on ‘Stop Person Black List’.
