Asad Khattak, the ex-husband of Pakistani actress Veena Malik has accused her of ‘smuggling’ his children from United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan.
"I had thought a lot about it, but now my patience has run out.My silence was considered as my weakness. I hope a father would get justice", Khattak wrote on Twitter.
He also said that he had sent a defamation notice of Rs 50 crore to Veena Malik. Khattak claimed that Dubai court had decided in his favour, but Veena Malik smuggled the children to Pakistan so that he couldn't meet them. "My both children are American citizens. Veena Malik not only betrayed me but also took both children to Pakistan after betraying Dubai government." Khattak wrote.
He said that he had not talked about it before, but it was time to bring the issue to the fore. He appealed to all forums to ensure justice for him.
On the other hand Malik responded to his tweet by saying that in Dubai also she had the guardianship of children according to law and Shariah. She also attached the copy of court's order regarding the custody of her children.
