Singer Ali Zafar got trolled by social media users, when he congratulated Pakistan’s Kabaddi Team on Sunday, saying the players should be given a ‘hero’s welcome’ in a tweet that was later deleted. The Kabaddi World Cup 2020 was held in Pakistan.
“Wow! Pakistan wins the Kabaddi World Cup. They should be given heroes’ welcome,” tweeted the singer on Sunday, following Pakistan’s victory against India in Kabaddi World Cup.
The singer cum actor had believed that the world cup, was held in some foreign country, that’s why he asked for ‘hero’s welcome’ for the players who made Pakistan to hold its first Kabaddi World Cup trophy.
The social media users on Twitter trolled Ali for being so naïve, due to which the singer deleted the tweet later.
