Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)'s internal rifts became more apparent after the alliance's head Maulana Fazlur Rahman abruptly left the joint press conference held by the leadership after the PDM meeting on Tuesday night.
After making the announcement that PDM has decided to postpone the long march, Fazl left the press conference even as PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz requested him to take media's questions.
Later, the PDM chief told Geo News that he did not want to attend the press conference, adding that he was asked by other PDM leaders to address the media. He severely criticised Pakistan People's Party (PPP), saying that the attitude of its leaders was not democratic.
On Tuesday night, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) announced that it has postponed its anti-government long march that was scheduled to be held on March 26 after the PPP sought some more time to decide whether its lawmakers are ready to resign from assemblies.
