Punjab police have arrested a man for harassing women in the name of 'prank' videos that he would post on his social media pages.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Punjab police said that the accused, a resident of Gujranwala, has been booked and arrested, adding that further legal action is being taken against him. His photo has also been released by the police.
A video doing the rounds on social media showed the man stopping random women on the road and asking them to wear dupatta on their heads. The clips were being shared by social media users who wondered why such behaviour was allowed and that the person harassing women for fun needs to be behind bars. He would make these clips for his Youtube channel where he has several followers.

The clips also showed how he yelled "Because I am a Pakistani and Muslim!", when women being harassed by him would ask why he is dictating them to cover their heads.
Islamabad police officer Amna Baig responded to a tweet drawing the authorities' attention towards the harasser and requested her colleagues to act.
