A member of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Corona Relief Tiger Force has been arrested in Taxila for taking money from local shopkeepers against their violation of government’s lockdown standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The police officials have identified the Tiger Force’s member as Mohammad Sadeeq who is a resident of Meera Shareef. “The man visited the main market and harassed shopkeepers for their alleged violation of SOPs and demanded money for not reporting the cases,” the officials said.
Later, the local shopkeepers beat him up and handed him over to the police for legal action. The police have registered a case against the suspect.
