Defying the restriction on public gatherings due to the coronavirus outbreak, chairman of religio-political party Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool-Allah Dr Ashraf Jalali has announced that his party would hold ‘All Pakistan Sunni Conference’ on March 21 in Lahore, challenging the government to hang him if any participant of the conference gets coronavirus.
South Asian Media Research Institute (SAMRI) posted a video of Ashraf Jalali on Twitter, in which the cleric can be heard saying that his party would hold a mass religious gathering in Lahore, despite the outbreak of coronavirus in the whole country.

“I am a firm believer of Allah, that’s why I believe that no one can get infected by coronavirus without the will of Almighty. The government of Pakistan can hang me, if any participant tested positive for coronavirus after attending the conference,” the cleric said in the video.
