Ink and eggs were hurled at Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Shahbaz Gill on Monday outside the Lahore High Court (LHC) purportedly by workers of Pakistan Muslim League - N (PML-N). The incident took place ahead of the SAPM's appearance before the high court.
Later, Shahbaz Gill spoke to the media and termed the incident 'thuggery', saying that he was completely fine. He said that he would not avenge the incident as "they are throwing the ink of their own black actions". Gill added that his party would not curse in return for their opponents' curses.
Shahbaz Gill had come to the LHC to appear before it on a petition challenging a criminal case registered by the Islampura police on his complaint.
