In addition to the demand of the border reopening, the social media users are also demanding the repatriation of the IDPs [Internally Displaced Persons]. IDPs are a group of Pashtun people who had to leave their areas during the military operations in the tribal districts.
KP MPA Mir Kalam Wazir said that the government was reluctant to send IDPs home despite repeated demands.
There are more than 2000 families still residing in Bakakhel TDPs Camp.despite our repeated demands govt is reluctant to send them back. Also no one is allowed to go and see the state of these TDPs inside the camp.

Another rights activist Alamzaib Mahsud said that the sufferings of the IDPs were unbearable, tas he tweeted in the support of the repatriation.
The hardships of waziristan datta khel, khyber's tirah and orakzai IDPs going hrough are absolutely unbearable. Years have passed since Operation Zarb-e-Azb was completed, but only a small area of Datta Khel is still uncleared. What is the state up to. #RepatriatePashtunIDPs

Another user questioned the motive of keeping the IDPs in camps.
The tribal areas have merged into KPK, claiming that terrorists have been eliminated in those districts. What is the reason that thousands of residents of Bakakhel camp are not sent back to their homes? Somewhere "There is something that is veiled."#RepatriatePashtunIDPs pic.twitter.com/z5ASSRHT9A

Idris Bacha questioned the lack of effective arrangments for the return of the IDPs.
In so called war on terror, thousands of Pashtuns were killed, markets, schools & houses were demolished & millions were displaced, most of whom are still living in IDPs camps for several years, but no effective arrangements have been made for their return.#RepatriatePashtunIDPs
