Hours before the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kickstarts officially, American star Pitbull has announced that he would not be performing in the opening ceremony.
In a video message, Pitbull said that he was extremely excited to go to Dubai and perform for the PSL but due to a plane fault, he would not be able to make it to the event.

“The Pakistan Cricket Board and our side tried our best to get me to Dubai but it was not possible. I would like to apologize, deeply apologize to everyone. I look forward to seeing you and thank you always for the love and support,” he said.
Despite Pitbull not making it to the PSL, the ceremony will still be graced by some of the biggest names in Pakistan’s music industry. Junoon, Boney M, Fawad Khan, Young Desi, Aima Baig and Shuja Haider will be showcasing their talents on stage.
Some Pakistanis believe Pitbull is making excuses and that his version of what happened is obviously not true.

Others believe there is something fishy and that the Pakistan Cricket Board needs to issue a clarification over the matter. “How can the singer announce his pullout on the day of the PSL4 opening and that too citing that 'part of his plane's engines had fallen during a flight'?”

No Pitbull? No Problems, Pakistanis have an alternative, and a better one indeed.
We would definitely love to see Ali Azmat rock the stage at PSL, right?

The PSL opening ceremony is expected to start at around 7pm Pakistan Standard Time (PST) later today followed by the tournament first fixture between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandards.
