Actor Osman Khalid Butt Denounces Propaganda Against Aurat March
While people have been sharing their original and doctored placards on social media to counter the negative propaganda being done to malign the recent Aurat March, actor Osman Khalid Butt has exposed this smear campaign, asking people to stop shaming and humiliating women.

The actor on his Twitter handle shared a picture that showed an original placard and its doctored version. In the original picture, a girl is holding a placard, that says ‘I’m a girl, not someone’s honor’, but in its doctored version, the word ‘girl’ is replaced by ‘prostitute’.

In his tweet, Osman said that he could not believe that people would stoop to this low to ‘discredit’ the Aurat March. “Ab bhool gaye Islam? (Have you now forgotten Islam) Bhool gaye ke Khuda dekh raha hai? (Have you forgotten that Allah is watching you),” he added.

Earlier, Journalist Mansoor Ali Khan, who participated in Aurat March along with his family, shared the doctored images of his family circulating on social media.

Just after the march, an organised negative campaign based on the photoshopped placards was launched on social media against the Aurat March.
