Renowned TV show host and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA from NA 245 Karachi Aamir Liaquat announced on Thursday that he and his wife Tuba Amir had tested positive for Coronavirus. Amir Liaqat in a dramatic manner tweeted, "We are under attack Attacker detected,the notorious #COVID19 Victims: Aamir Liaquat and Syeda Tuba Aamir".
"Today is the second day,Ginger, Garlic,Kalongi,Black Pepper, Clove,Star Maze & Cinnamon are the helpers Prayers needed" he added.

Liaqat's wife Tuba Amir also wrote in an instagram post that she and her husband Amir Liaqat have tested positive for the virus. "Aamir Liaquat and I have tested positive for coronavirus. We are isolating ourselves at home,” she said. Tuba then asked fans for prayers and added, "We need your prayers more than ever right now. May Allah give shiffa to everyone. Ameen."

The past few weeks have seen an exponential growth of coronavirus cases in the country. More than 1300 cases were registered in the country on Wednesday while 26 people lost their lives. The positivity rate has risen to 4 percent in the country.
