Former head of a peace committee was shot dead and a brother of the slain man also killed the attacker in Mohmand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Monday.
According to police, the ex-peace body head has been identified as Malik Khana Gul who was seriously injured when a man opened fire on him. The injured was shifted to a hospital in Peshawar where he succumbed to his wounds.
In an apparent revenge act, a brother of the slain man identified as Din Muhammad, gunned down the attacker. Din Muhammad was arrested along with an accomplice.
