Dawood Butt, father of a Tik Tok star Hamza Ghani was shot dead allegedly by members of a student organisation Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam (AJI) in Sialkot on Saturday night. Social media users, through the hashtag #JusticeForDawoodButt, have urged the authorities to act against the perpetrators.
Ghani posted a video message on social media, sharing details about the unfortunate incident. He said that around 60 men came to his residence with arms and rods. “First they hit my father with rod, and then they shot him dead. My younger brother was also shot in the leg, and he is currently admitted in a local hospital.”

The Tik Tok star demanded justice for his father and family who he says have suffered a lot in the past few days. He appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan and other government officials to take notice of the incident and serve the family justice. Ghani said that he won’t remain silent until his appeal is heard among the highest official ranks.
