A poor father in Haveli Lakha has appealed for justice after alleging his 14-year-old daughter was repeatedly sexually abused while working as a domestic helper.

A father in Haveli Lakha has appealed to senior authorities for justice after alleging that his 14-year-old daughter was repeatedly sexually abused while working in the home of a local influential family.
The father, identified as Elahi Bakhsh, alleged that his daughter, Allah Rakhi, had been working for about four months at Chaudhry Ghulam Nabi's home. He said she was not paid a fixed salary and worked in return for food and clothing.
According to the allegations, Allah Rakhi was repeatedly subjected to sexual abuse during her time at the household. The father alleged that a man identified as Ahmed Ghulam Nabi took his daughter to an upper floor of the house on several occasions and sexually assaulted her.
The father said that about four days ago, another alleged incident came to light after Ahmed's younger brother informed their mother, Basri Bibi. He alleged that Basri Bibi subsequently beat Allah Rakhi and expelled her from the house.
Allah Rakhi then returned to her family home in distress and told her mother what had allegedly happened, according to her father.
Elahi Bakhsh said his daughter developed a fever and began vomiting later that evening. The family took her to a doctor, where she underwent medical examinations and an ultrasound.
He alleged that the examination indicated that the girl was pregnant.
The father has appealed to senior government officials and law enforcement authorities to investigate the allegations, protect his daughter, and provide justice to the family.
The allegations have not been independently verified. Any criminal responsibility would have to be established through a formal investigation and judicial proceedings.
The case also raises concerns about the vulnerability of children employed in informal domestic work, particularly those from economically disadvantaged families who may have limited access to legal protection and support.
