Estranged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen has said that the group of PTI lawmakers supporting him met with Prime Minister Imran Khan who assured them of 'justice' after listening to their reservations.
Addressing the media in Lahore, Tareen said that the MNAs and MPAs of his group spoke 'openly' and expressed their grievances upon which the PM told them that he would personally look into the matter.
Jahangir Tareen, who is under investigation for his alleged involvement in sugar crisis in the country, said that he has never tried to evade investigation, adding that he has presented several documents to the court.
He further said that while the group backing him has spoken to the PM about their reservations, they have not demanded an end to the cases.
