11 coal miners from the Shia-Hazara community were kidnapped by armed militants and killed in the Mach area of Balochistan on Sunday. The abductors took the coal miners to a nearby area and then opened fire.
Police has reported that six of the miners died at the spot while five are critically wounded and died on the way to a hospital.
An initial investigation has revealed that the militants attacked the miners because they were from the Shia Hazara community. However, no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter to condemn the miners' killing.
