Saudi Arabia has placed a curfew in Makkah and Medina in a bid to contain the spread of coronavirus in the holy cities. The Saudi Interior Ministry made the announcement on Thursday and said that the curfew will remain in place until the next order.
Workers of vital public and private sectors have been exempted from the ban on entry and exit from the city.
All commercial activities have also been subjected with immediate effect.
