Federal Minister for Law Farogh Naseem has resigned from his post to represent the government before the Supreme Court in Justice Qazi Faez Isa case.
The hearing of the case is scheduled to be held tomorrow (Tuesday).
This is the second time the law minister has tendered his resignation to appear as the government’s lawyer in Supreme Court. Previously, the minister had resigned to contest his government’s case in a case pertaining to Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s extension notification.
Naseem had rejoined the cabinet in the same capacity after the conclusion of the case.
