11 people across the country died from Coronavirus and 807 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC).
Pakistan has conducted more than forty four lac tests until now. Currently there are 12,121 active cases of Coronavirus in Pakistan while 669 of them are in critical condition. The total number of infected patients in Pakistan is 332,993. 6806 people lost their lives in their fight against the virus.
Sindh had been the worst hit province of Pakistan by Coronavirus while Punjab is the second most affected province followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the capital Islamabad. Sindh has registered 145,475 cases of Covid until now while Punjab has 104,016 cases, KP 39458, Islamabad 19,818 and Balochistan has registered 12,896 cases until now. Furthermore, 2625 people died due to the virus in Sindh, 2357 in Punjab, 1276 in KP, 149 in Balochistan while 217 people lost their lives in Islamabad.
The National Command and Control Centre had made the use of face masks compulsory in public spaces while a fine will also be imposed on the violation of SOPs in the federal capital. Chairman of NCOC Asad Umer on Saturday also sought the help of citizens in reporting the violation of SOPs.
