Facebook has blocked live streaming of Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation's (PBC) news bulletins focusing on Kashmir.
According to Radio Pakistan, the social media giant has blocked the streaming for raising its voice against the ‘continued atrocities, curfew and military lockdown in Indian occupied Kashmir’.
Radio Pakistan shared screenshots on its website of posts from May and July, which displayed the message, “Your post goes against our Community Standards on dangerous individuals and organisations."
The said posts showed pictures of Kashmiri freedom fighter Burhan Wani, or had mentioned a mujahid commander Zakir Musa.
Facebook and Twitter had earlier suspended hundreds of individuals' accounts for making pro-Kashmir posts.
