A Chinese company has been given the licence to manufacture liquor in Pakistan. The News quoted sources as saying that the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered the company named Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery on April 30, 2020, with Hub, Balochistan as its address.
The company is said to be a joint venture with Balochistan. It will be the first Chinese company to have its plant in Pakistan. The manufacturing and packaging would take place at its plant in Lasbela, Balochistan.
The company is said to have a 'vast experience' of manufacturing liquor in China.
