Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) lawmaker Agha Rafiullah was asked to leave the National Assembly on Wednesday by Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri for allegedly violating the decorum of the house.
Agha Rafiullah was protesting against the deputy speaker who did not let him speak when Suri asked the management to get him out of the assembly hall. At this point Agha Rafiullah left the house.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Khawaja Asif, while addressing the session, asked the government that which mafia was being benefitted by the wheat crisis. He said that the life of people has become miserable under the current government. Khawaja Asif walked out of the house without listening to the response of the government.
Minister for Aviation, Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that no decision has been taken on the wheat support price. He also told the house that the government will provide a subsidy to farmers after the parliamentary committees recommendations.
Minister for Communication, Murad Saeed condemned the ‘anti-Pakistan’ statement by Owais Norani at the Quetta rally on Sunday and said that the opposition is part of the conspiracy against Pakistan hatched by the enemies. He added that the opposition wants the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO), but the PM will not give NRO to those who plundered the country. Murad Saeed moved the resolution condemning the statement of Owais Norani which which violated the article 251 of the constitution according to the resolution.
National Assembly offered fateha for the martyrs of Peshawar and Quetta blast and unanimously passed the resolution condemning the terrorist attacks in Quetta and Peshawar. The resolution was moved by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan.
