VIP movement due to the walima ceremony of federal minister Asad Umar’s son brought traffic to a halt in Karachi.

Journalist Syed Talat Hussain tweeted a video of a traffic jam, saying that VIP movement due to the walima ceremony of Asad Umar’s son, adding that the important personalities that were attending the ceremony were the president, army chief and the prime minister.

One user shared the video by saying that the it showed the simplicity of the leaders of Riyasat-e-Madina, a phrase that the ruling PTI uses for the ideal Pakistani state. She added that the nation remembered the lectures the party had given against VIP protocols.

One user shared a Facebook post by Asad Umar’s son, in which he was asking guests to arrive early, as the roads would be blocked because the prime minister, army chief, and president had been invited to the wedding.
