Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that the Pakistan Army has killed more than 60 Indian soldiers at the Line of Control since February 27.

Asif Ghafoor stated in a tweet from his personal account that Pakistan Army had also destroyed bunkers and many Indian troops had been injured since the day the Pakistan Air Force shot down two Indian aircraft that had violated Pakistani airspace.

The DG ISPR also said that Indian artillery guns had been damaged and forced to relocate.

He further talked of how two Indian helicopters had been destroyed by their own forces and the Indian navy was 'under deterrence'.

Asif Ghafoor had made the tweet with the hashtag, #CostforCDS, in a reference to the fact that the damage to Indian forces had been due to Indian army chief Bipin Rawat's desire to become the Chief of Defence Staff in India, and his misadventures in Kashmir were the result of this aim.

Earlier, the ISPR had stated that Rawat seeks to become India’s first CDS with the ‘blood of innocents on his hand’.
