A short video clip has emerged in which Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan is seen telling Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry that the latter had done a “great thing” by slapping TV anchor Mubasher Lucman.
The Chief Minister of KP appears to refer to a recent private gathering where a spat between Chaudhry and Lucman spun out of control and the federal minister slapped the veteran TV anchor.
In the video clip, which appears to show him speaking to Fawad Chaudhry in private, CM Mahmood Khan says, “Ussko thappar maar ke na, behtareen kaam kiya hai yaar...” (In slapping him, you have done the best thing, friend!)
Before the video clip ends, Fawad Chaudhry is heard saying “Sir, see, is this something that one ought to do? Just for ratings, you [Lucman] say there are porn videos of me? I said to him 'Neither do you have your own family or home to worry about...'”
