Provincial government of Sindh has passed a coronavirus ordinance that makes it illegal for the private companies to layoff their employees amid the pandemic lockdown. They will also be held accountable for not paying the monthly salaries during the months of lockdown.
Furthermore, the cabinet has agreed to 20 percent reductions in the school fees and bans property owners to move tenants out if they are unable to manage the rent during the lockdown.

Sindh's coronavirus tally has reached 4956 on Monday after the province reported 341 new cases.
Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah said four people also lost their lives due to the virus. Sindh has lost 85 people to coronavirus in total. The CM said today 2733 coronavirus tests were conducted, adding that in total, the province has conducted 43949 tests so far.
Murad Ali Shah has also said, that the government is increasing the number of beds at quarantine centres. The field hospital at Karachi Expo Centre will get 300 more beds to increase its capacity from 1,200 to 1,500, the CM said.
