Al-Jazeera’s TV correspondent Hameedullah’s brother Javed has been shot dead by unknown assailants in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP)'s city Swat.
Journalist associated with GEO News Azhar Abbas took to Twitter, informing the people about the murder. He said President Swat Press Club Shahzad Alam has confirmed the news, while condemning the brutal murder of journalist’s brother.

Azhar Abbas has revealed that Javed was the 14th member of Hameedullah’s family, who has been murdered in the last five years.
For the last few years, the attacks on journalists and their families have been increased to a great extent, a number of journalist have been killed in the line of duty.
