Two sisters went through sex-reassignment surgeries in Islamabad and have now been discharged after the successful procedure.
Media reports quoted Professor Dr Amjad Chaudhry of PIMS, Islamabad as saying that the two sisters are from Gujrat and have other sisters. The two of them were born with physical deformities, adding that they suffered from a condition called atypical genitalia and the surgery was needed to change their gender.
He further said that they were recovering after the surgery and were discharged after necessary medical formalities. He also told that their family was happy after the successful surgery.
