The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday overturned Lahore High Court's acquittal of Shah Hussain and ordered his imprisonment in Khadija Siddiqui stabbing case.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Asif Saeed Khosa earlier today overturned LHC’s decision, after which the suspect was taken into custody from court premises.
Speaking to the media, Khadija said that truth will always prevail and that SC's verdict was a victory for every women.
She also thanked the media for playing its role responsibly and for highlighting the issue which ultimately led to prevalence of justice.

“The Supreme Court’s judgment has proven that even if you misuse your powers, you cannot escape the truth forever. Today’s decision is a victory for every woman,” she was quoted as saying by Geo.
She also thanked the media for playing its role responsibly and for highlighting the issue which ultimately led to prevalence of justice.
