UMT Students Protesting Against Physical Exams Beaten Up By Police
Students of the University of Management and Technology (UMT) in Lahore who were protesting against physical exams were beaten up by police. Videos and pictures trending on Twitter under the hashtag of #StudentsKoInsafDo show police mercilessly beating up peaceful student protestors. One of the organisers and member of Progress Students Collective Zubair Siddique among others was manhandled by the cops.

Last week, students from NUML university in Islamabad who protested against physical exam also faced police’s high handedness.

Protests by students are being held across the country. Students from Bahria University in Islamabad have also taken to streets. Meanwhile in Faisalabad, students of Government Women College are also protesting against physical exams.
