In a video of a sermon that has gone viral on social media, preacher and Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel openly objectifies and sexualises women to an audience of hundreds of men. While explaining the concept of hoors in Islam, he says that the men who enter paradise will be greeted by 70 virgin women, hoors, who will be there to serve them as a reward from Allah.
He further goes on to describe those virgins as dressed in multiple outfits and a new makeup look with each outfit and a different fragrance. He also says that the said virgin will not be wearing any undergarments and the men will be able to see her body through the hundred dresses that she's wearing.
The first sight at that hoor will also leave the man dumbfounded, that his eyes will burst out open.
Twitter has reacted to the video and called Tariq Jameel out for his blatant objectification and heightened sexualisation of women in the context of Islam.

The women on Twitter who deal with harassment on a daily basis were of course not pleased with the religious scholar talking about their bodies in a light that propagates the rape culture.
