Sindh government officials have reportedly told the PML-N leadership that IG Sindh was ‘kidnapped’ by Rangers who forced him to issue orders for PML-N leader Captain (r) Safdar’s arrest.
Safdar was arrested from his hotel room in Karachi for allegedly violating the sanctity of the Quaid’s mausoleum.
Senior journalist Hamid Mir tweeted that PML-N leader Muhammad Zubair who went to the police station to meet Captain (r) Safdar after his arrest was informed that the IG was forced to take action.
