An anti terrorism court in Karachi has sent MNA Ali Wazir on physical remand.
The lawmaker and five other suspects were produced in the court on Saturday where the police sought their one month remand.
But the court allowed remand till December 30.
Meanwhile, the authorities have confirmed that Ali Wazir was moved to Karachi. He was arrested by Peshawar police on the request of Sindh police. The arrest was made in relation to a case registered against him in Karachi. The authorities say his alleged hateful remarks are the reason for his arrest. However, MNA Mohsin Dawar claimed Wazir was arrested for his participation in an event marking the sixth anniversary of Army Public School (APS) attack.
