Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the nation today amid unrest in the country due the violent protests of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP). Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed told media that the PM will deliver a 'historic address to the nation' at 4.30 PM today.
Earlier on Monday, PM Imran Khan said that he had began a campaign to bring together heads of Muslim states to present the case for honour of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) on international forums, adding that political and religious parties in Pakistan were misusing Islam to harm the country.
The PM expressed these views while addressing the groundbreaking ceremony for the Margalla Highway in Islamabad. Khan further said that the people of Pakistan have great love for the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and he had never seen this kind of attachment with the Prophet (PBUH) anywhere else in the world.
