Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari lambasted Nadeem Haque, an educationist and former planning commission member, after he compared Lahore School of Management Sciences (LUMS) with Gomanl University, saying 'most' LUMS students do better than their counterparts at Gomal.
In a tweet, Haque said: "Does most LUMS students do better than most students from Gomal University? There could be exceptions. But we are talking of most. Think!"
However, the minister took exception to such crude comparison.
She said: "At least check your own grammar coming from LSE & Chicago? It's "do" not "does"! And I can speak of QAU[Quaid-e-Azam University] where wide range of students provided greater exposure & brighter students - talking of "most".

Haque was also schooled by a LUMS professor Dr Nida Kirmani as well. "Gomal University produced Manzoor Pashteen—one of the most important young leaders of our times. Don’t knock it. Also the point was that education should not have a price tag, not that private unis like LUMS don’t I part quality education. (Some private unis do & some don’t.)"
