Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that Pakistan has come to know that India is planning a surgical strike against Pakistan in a bid to deflect attention from its internal matters.
Qureshi expressed these views while addressing the media in Abu Dhabi, where he is currently present. The foreign minister was on a two-day visit to UAE where he met the Emirati leadership. The FM said that Pakistan has received 'credible information' about India's intentions which he claimed were 'picked up by intelligence'. He said that it was a 'serious development', adding that Pakistan had earlier exposed India's act of sponsoring terror in Pakistan through a dossier shared with the world community.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also spoke about his meetings with the UAE officials during the visit.
