Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said that it would have been good if Prime Minister Imran Khan had attended the Kuala Lumpur Summit in Malaysia. He expressed these views while talking to media in Geneva.
PM Imran had cancelled his visit to Malaysia where he was set to attend the summit, reportedly to 'maintain neutrality' after Saudi Arabia pressured him for the same.
Earlier, PM Imran Khan held a meeting with the Turkish president in Geneva where the both leaders are present for the first Global Refugee World Forum. Khan took the Turkish president in confidence over his decision to not attend the Kuala Lumpur Summit.
