Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Climate Change Minister Zartaj Gul has asked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership to celebrate military dictator Ziaul Haq's birthday on his death anniversary.
Speaking on a live TV show, Gul asked fellow panelist PML-N leader Javed Latif to celebrate the birth anniversary of the 'founder of their party'.
This is not the first time the state minister was put on the spot for making dull-witted remarks.
Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul had also made news for spreading misleading information regarding the deadly coronavirus. She had said that the virus was named ‘Covid-19’ because it has “19 points that can be applied to any country in any way”.
In another instance, Zartaj Gul Wazir had said the ruling government was proud that the military was its spokesperson. The minister had made these comments during a talk show of a private television channel.
