Legendary actor and TV show host Tariq Aziz has passed away. He was 84-years-old. The deceased was a popular TV personality and hosted the famous game show Neelam Ghar. He was also the first-ever newscaster on Pakistan Television.

Tariq Aziz featured in many local TV shows and had also organised telethons for charity. He starred in the 1967 film 'Insaniyat' alongside film actors Waheed Murad and Zeba. Aziz also tried his luck in politics and was elected an MNA from Lahore on Pakistan Muslim League- N (PML-N)'s ticket, but he had quit politics many years ago.
