A man in Pakpattan killed his daughter because she failed to wake him up for Sehri on Thursday.
According to Geo News, Mukhtar Ahmed a resident of Pakpattan said his brother Gulzar Ahmed opened fire on his daughter for not waking him up for Sehri. The police have lodged a case against the accused on the complaint of the deceased uncle.
The police have also started an investigation into the matter.
On Wednesday, a man in Shangla allegedly killed his wife, daughter and a male relative after suspecting both women of involvement in a relationship with the man.
Upon receiving information, the police rushed to the area and found two women lying in a pool of blood while another dead body of a man was also found. The bodies were taken to the nearby Chawga hospital where autopsy examination was conducted.
Last week on Thursday, the police arrested a suspect – who along with unknown aides had allegedly set a girl ablaze after she refused to marry him – in an attempted murder case.
A First Information Report (FIR) was filed by the mother of the 16-year-old girl who was allegedly set on fire for refusing a marriage proposal. Police said that the victim, whose face, body and arms were badly burnt, was shifted to the burn unit of the hospital.
According to the girl’s mother, she woke up at 1:30 am when she heard screams of her daughter. She also said that she saw two men pouring oil on her daughter and setting her on fire before fleeing the scene. Other relatives also came to their house and helped put out the fire.
