Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced that the countrywide lockdown would continue for another two weeks. While briefing the media, he also said that the National Coordination Committee has opted to resume operations of the construction industry from today.
However, the provinces can make their own decision if they wish to continue the restrictions, he said.
Further, the PM called on the people to continue preventive measures to contain the spread of coronavirus. He reiterated that the number of cases in Pakistan is lower than the rest of the world. "But it does not mean we should stop taking precautions", he said.
