PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that the PTI government would fall before January following Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)'s countrywide protests. She added that the public was standing by Nawaz Sharif and the 'incompetent' prime minister would soon be sent packing.
In an interview to AAJ TV, she said that the answers to her father's questions do not lie in declaring him a traitor. She also said that PML-N would resign from assemblies if need be. The PML-N leader also said that she does not consider this government elected or constitutional.
In response to a question, Maryam Nawaz said that the treason allegations levelled against Nawaz Sharif will not be proved, but the recent statements by PM Imran Khan fall under the category of treason.
