Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has decided to set up an endowment fund with an initial amount of Rs200 million to rehabilitate non-Muslim victims of terrorism in the province.
The KP Assembly on Friday approved the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rehabilitation of Minorities (Victims of Terrorism) Endowment Fund Bill, 2020.
The session began under the chairmanship of Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani and was then adjourned for an indefinite period.
Religious minorities have been the victims of terrorism in KP with several terror attacks targeting Sikhs and Christians. A number of churches were attacked in acts of terrorism this year alone.
