On occasion, Punjab Minister for Human Rights Ejaz Alam Augustine said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government is committed to eliminating violence against women and guaranteeing rights of individuals.
He said that the ruling government has also decided to introduce Human Rights as a subject in various educational institutions across the province. He said a provincial taskforce on human rights is working on safeguarding people’s rights.
