24-year-old Tamseela from Swat was born without hands, but that has not stopped her from seeking education and educating kids in her community.
Tamseela recently pursued her dream of completing education after passing BSc in computer science but she is desperate to get a government job and live a respectable life. Tamseela would not let her disability come in the way of herself.
“The day I passed my BSc computer science examination, I was excited to find a job and live a respectable life but unfortunately it did not happen and I am still struggling to find a job and pursue my dream of educating the girls of poor communities in my area,” Tamseela told Dawn.
Though she is finding it hard to land a job, Tamseela has refused to not make use of her degree. She is teaching kids in her community without any monetary gains in return. “I teach all the children of my relatives and neighbours without charging them because I want all the children to get an education.”
Apart from being a computer expert, Tamseela is an expert multitasker and can do all household chores, including sewing clothes.
Iffat Nasir, Tamseela's teacher who has supported her throughout her career said that Tamseela was a bright girl and an example of courage, bravery, and commitment for others.
Tamseela recently appeared in NTS test for teaching in the disabled quota and is waiting for its result. Given her guinness and never-give-up attitude, it's safe to say that she will pass the test with flying colours.
