Pakistan’s polio toll reaches 134, after six new cases were reported on Thursday. Two of the six cases were reported in KP – including a nine-month-old girl. Two more cases surfaced in Punjab and another two were reported from Sindh.
According to the parents of polio-affected patients, their children had not been vaccinated under the routine immunisation programme. As many as 128 polio cases were registered in Pakistan last year.
The PTI government so far has failed to counter increasing toll of polio cases in Pakistan.
