Ranking Pakistan’s Test Captains

Ranking Pakistan’s Test Captains
In this article, Nadeem F. Paracha analyzes Pakistan's top 30 Test captains.

Spoiler alert: Imran Khan isn't ranked at No 1.

Pakistan gained Test status in 1952. Since then, it has played 421 Tests. It has won 136, lost 126 and drawn 159. The team has had 32 Test captains.

Rankings are not based on statistics only, but also on circumstances and on the overall impact of a player’s captaincy on Pakistan cricket. The statistics and information only include events and feats during a player’s captaincy.
